How is my Physical Therapy Treatment Funded?
Alberta Health Services
We are very pleased to announce that, at The Grange Physical Therapy, we are currently providing services funded by Alberta Health. Please contact the clinic to see if your condition qualifies for funding.
WCB
If you have injured yourself while at work, most companies will have insurance through the Workers’ Compensation Board, who will then cover your initial assessment and future treatments. The number and duration of treatments will depend on your injury, but typically WCB covers 21 visits over a period of 6 weeks.
MVA
If you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident, you may be covered for treatments from your motor vehicle accident insurance company for up to 2 years from the date of the accident. Please note that health claims will not affect your premiums.
Direct Billing
We are able to offer direct billing to many private insurance companies to help you access your coverage for physical therapy, massage therapy, and acupuncture services.
We direct bill to many extended health benefit plans, such as Blue Cross, Great West Life, Manulife, Johnsons, Sunlife, Green Shield, Standard Life, Chambers of Commerce and groups that are a part of Telus Assure.
